Celle qui s’est échappé

I wrote this poem while i wondered if it was normal to feel hatred towards someone that healed parts of you, and to my conclusion, i decided that healing people can be limiting, and comfort of words can turn to poison so that’s what i wrote about, this poem is about how people that healed and comforted you while you needed it can also hold you down till you suffocate . So don’t feel guilty or unkind if you decide to leave situations or people that used to make you grow but lately you have been the reason you feel worse. This poem is a thread of my thoughts, interwoven from feelings that might just be the comfort you hold on to, too.

• A Story With Every Word A Lie

“A story with every word a lie” is a realization that comes to people on a random Tuesday. It creeps in slowly as you become aware of the fact that your story is a lie you built to protect yourself, and that’s what you fed everyone else. Its about the immediate guilt you feel when you stand as a betrayer to the people you love and even yourself. Its a defending statement to tell everyone that sometimes the truth hurts too much to live with so you choose the lie, and don’t realise it , till you do.

• To Always Be Striving

‘To always Be Striving’ is a poem that talks about always striving for more from a prospective that isn’t talked about. It reflects that even though striving for more stands as a motivation, the dissatisfaction, worthlessness, anxiety and draining that it sometimes causes is ignored. To anyone who reads this poem and relates to it, i want you to know that your dream isn’t too small. You dont need to feel guilty for stopping when you were happy and too tired to go back for more. You deserve to be happy, content and at peace. And that looks different for everyone.

• The House Of Love Is A Visiting Site

The poem “The House Of Love, Is A Visting Site” is about love, memories, and the transformation that comes from letting go. It concludes that love is not a static house you possess, rather it is a journey, and holding onto a past friendship or relationship only causes damage and hurt to you, it talks about the power, peace and happiness you feel after letting go, and thriving, finally leaving the past but taking the memories with you.

It questions if we truly transform, or disguise ourselves in new layers. It shows how we evolve yet remain who we are. It captures the ache of becoming better, worse and somehow both.
