• A Story With Every Word A Lie

“A story with every word a lie” is a realization that comes to people on a random Tuesday. It creeps in slowly as you become aware of the fact that your story is a lie you built to protect yourself, and that’s what you fed everyone else. Its about the immediate guilt you feel when you stand as a betrayer to the people you love and even yourself. Its a defending statement to tell everyone that sometimes the truth hurts too much to live with so you choose the lie, and don’t realise it , till you do.

  1. The extended energy of truth and lies is effective and consistent. It creates a mythic, almost biblical undertone, suggesting temptation, fear, and exile.
    “My lie is the truth,
The truth I call my lie.”
This part is the philosophical core of the your poem, abstract but emotionally understandable.
The poem doesn’t accuse others, it reveals inner weakness,as we are the evil of ourselves. That vulnerability makes it feel authentic rather than defensive.
This is a thoughtful, introspective piece with a solid metaphor and authentic emotional core. That last element is powerful, it implies generational or relational transmission of illusion. That idea could be expanded further. It feels like a confession of living within a lie. Would like to read extended ode or a sequence of this emotional state… 💙
